    IE's on Acid(2)  echo $newRAM;

    Well, actually it isn't, and that's part of the problem. Perhaps it might be best if you read the background information on Acid2. In summary, Acid 2 is a test for web browsers to see if it complies with the CSS 2 standards. The entire test page is made up of what various web designers decided are some of the most important features in the new CSS 2 specifications.

    Of course, I'm by no means an expert web designer, nor am I a web browser developer. Really the only reason why I'm posting is to make sure that if any of my readers are still using internet explorer, I've found yet another reason why you should switch to something like FireFox. If you insist on using Internet Explorer, behold, the future of your web surfing experience:

    Now, this isn't to say that FireFox is perfect, because they have some very large flaws, too:

    The big difference, however, is that FireFox is much more likely to actually support the new standards. Internet explorer, on the other hand, is notorious for not supporting standards and for not fixing known problems. So, the real question is when IE *will* be on Acid, too.
